I already know how most of you liberals are going to answer this, but I'm going to ask anyway just for the laughs...
How do you guys feel about homosexual "Christians"?
How do you feel about homosexual "pastors"?

How one choses to live and the lifestyle they wish to pursue is totally up to each individual. If one is gay and is christian it is not for anyone to judge them as to if it is a sin or not. That will be determined after they take thier last breath. What ever church you may belong to has it's guidlines on what the whole of the church believes to be a sin. If the guidlines that were set conflict with what you believe then it is your right to find a church that conforms to your beliefs. The church that she belonged to had a tolerable stance as to her homosexuality, but she decided to push the issue and proclaim outright to everyone that she was gay and was in a gay relationship. That is where the tolerance ended and the church doctrine had to step in. She knew what the consequences of her actions would be, and is now trying to fight it in the name of gay rights. It is her right to be gay, it is not however her right to be a pastor of her church. As it is the vast majority of the membership of her church believe that it is against the will of god. True or not that is what they believe. Thus she will probally lose.

I love how homophobes use the bible to justify their own insecurities when most of them havnt even stepped foot in church in years.
Shut the fuck up already.
If we were citing the bible we'd still be burying adulterers up to their head in the sand and stoning them to death. There was a case a a few months back where a woman in some other country was sentenced to stoning. The world outcry was so loud they overturned the ruling. Where were the christian soldiers fighting for their crusade on that incident? Oh yeah, they werent there becuase they only cite religious lessons when it suits likes and dislikes.
This whole thing reminds me of the black civil rights movement in the 50s and 60s.
I actually saw a public figure on television saying, "we can only hope they will all give eachother HIV, that way they can die young and their genes will die with them".
I'm not a homosexual. But I have friends who are and I have never met a
homosexual who wasnt a nice person.
If any of my homosexual friends had a love for God so much they decided to dedicate their lives to religion, I'd certainly be behind him 100% (no pun intented).

Yes, it does say in the bible that homosexuality is a sin. (I will spare you all and not go into my diatribe about how the Bible was written by Man, and is therefore probably not a 100% accurate depiction of all the things God really wants for us.) It also says that stealing and lusting are sins, yet plenty of thieves and whores call themselves Christians. And who the hell am I to dispute that?
You can be a sinner and still worship Jesus Christ, you know. Hell, show me any Christian who isn't a sinner.
