Question to the WW Alliance guild

Postby Zanchief » Thu Jan 05, 2006 11:40 am

Advina or Kizzy.

Just curious if now that you're both 60 and are in a raiding guild, do you have mid 20s officers in your guild that have no never played in the high end?

It's not a loaded question~

The lowest level officer in our guild is level 55, he was made an officer at 50. He is the recruiting officer, but from what I have seen, he doesnt recruit much. He is well liked and respected, and does his best to help the guild out.

We dont raid alot of high level instances. We do ZG Scholo, Strat, BRD, UBRS, LBRS, and MC mostly.

If, out of the blue, they promoted a lvl 25 character who lvled slow and didn't have much knowledge of the game, but had close ties, out of game, with some of the other officers, would you question their decision?

Think about it 1st.

WW Alliance? I assume you mean Horde for me...

Wanderlust officers are all level 60, they all have experience in the instances we do. (MC/ZG/Onyxia) Some have experience in BWL as well (even though we have not gone there as a guild yet.) They all have very specified roles as well....

Gotta go work on crap, be back after to answer more in depth if you want.

Depending on how the guild was structured. Is it a raiding guild? or a family guild?

I have always thought that you dont need to have an officer tag to be respected and liked by your guild.

If its a family, let's have fun guild, then yes, sure, no problem.

If it is a raiding guild, then my answer would have to be no.

Although all my alts are officers. Two are the guild bankers, and one is my priest I play for fun. (whichisn't much fun)

I thought you were both in the same guild, but it still applies.

Adi, if, out of the blue, they promoted a lvl 25 character who lvled slow and didn't have much knowledge of the game, but had close ties, out of game, with some of the other officers, would you question their decision?

Think about it 1st.

Kizz, so you wouldn't have a problem if the GLs brother joined the guild and he was made an officer at lvl 10 even though he rarely played and lvled really slowly?

Well, it also depends on what "officer" means in that guild, in some guilds, it's a person to turn to, in other guilds, you goosestep behind officers or they flex their muscles

Read my answer above, and I dont play on Whisperwind anymore.

If its a raiding guild, then yes I would have a problem, but then again, as I said before, its just a tag, you have to earn the respect you get from it. What difference does it realy make? Now he can invite and promote

First of all, we werent a raiding guild when we started on Whisperwind, we all started the guild from level one. Way to bring up old shit and drama. You, sir, haven't changed. Still a lying asshole.

Also, as I stated before, just because you wear a tag, it doesnt mean anything. Had The Namelss been a level 60 high instance raiding guild, you may have had a point, but you don't. We never raided anything. Go stir your drama pot somewhere else, dramawhore.

If you werent stirring up the pot, then why are you bringing up drama from a year ago, from a guild that is no longer existant that we we level 1 when we created? Do you have noone else to slap around now that your girldfriend left you?

Wow really good job stirring the pot. Here I thought you were not being an asshole.

For the record, our guild was

1) Not a raiding guild
2) and I was made an officer the day we made the guild, so we were all equal at that point. No one was level 60, we were all level 1-10.
3) I had no IRL connection to Taax, I was made an officer because of the outside shit I did and planned for the guild

Wanderlust is:
1) An established raiding guild who does end game content
2) Consists of all level 60s with the exception of our alts

The Nameless NEVER was and NEVER would have been and end game raiding guild. We were lucky if we could do Strat or Scholo.

Don't compare apples and oranges.

The two of you always whined about how I didn't respect you blah blah blah.

Well now that you're in a different situation, do you see the point to have a slow lvling Officer in her 20s? Doesn't seem like they would know much about the game.

BTW I have a medical condition which doesn't let me let things die, dogs or horses, thanks a lot from bringing it up.

BUt the difference is you are comparing a high end/mid instance raiding guild to a start up guild. Do you not see the difference?

Bolded above is the key word here. DIFFERENT SITUATION. Read my second post on this topic, which nicely details how our guild WAS NOT AND NEVER WOULD BE A RAIDING GUILD <3

Besides the fact that it has been stated a thousand times that
1) We started as equals
2) I was an officer becuase I did shit for the guild, it may not have been in game as much as out of game, but I did more for that guild than you ever did.
3) I never asked for your respect nor do I want it.
