I was thinking more along the lines of having those dragons in their own instances just like Onyxia. I wouldn't mind at all having to do a quest for another key to enter it. Better that than competing with alliance zerg guilds who can man a 40 man raid at any hour of the day. It's not that we can't beat the mobs, it's that we don't have twice the number of playerbase like they do.

I just wish they would do some 5-10 man shit. in 40 man raids, you are usually insignificant in the grand scheme of things. Onyxia is definatly the best raid encounter in wow by far still.

I think that was one thing EQ did right.

I remember, back in EQ, that a lot of our success depended on each individual. Being in LoS seemed to amplify that fact too. For instance, when Taox or Tikker or Misstara or Jmann or Fwopper or whoever... if one of them dropped, you noticed a significant decline in DPS. If shit wasn't slowed, either myself, Mudcrush, or Katyana got bitched at. Clerics would almost literally sweat if anyone other than "Mr 13k" Riddek was tanking.

Skrum's definitely right, I believe. Maybe it's the class I play, but I feel about as useful as an asshole on an elbow when it comes to WoW raids. :\

I loved being a cleric in EQ, it almost always guaranteed a leadership role in groups and/or raids regardless of your official status within the guild.
