I know Ouch, Harry, and a few others are looking to play more EQ2. I wouldnt mind a few nights a week playing. I think Toss and Kiral and a few others might still be playing.
So, what's the most populated server, and where is everyone playing? Right now I have a 36 Ranger on Highkeep, but would be willing to start over on a more populous server.
Anyone have any brilliant ideas?

Pacemaker, myself and another friend play on Lavastorm a couple days a week. However, we probably will never reach high-end because Pace and myself are no-longer psychos about gaming and our friend only logs on if we are playing. The server itself seems pretty populated.
47 ranger, Mistmoore seems more popular. Have some high level raiding guilds if want, usualy within a day or 2 of the mininew content final boss is killed. If you dont know usually when they do minipatches (such as Splitpaw or they did a plague one), there are awards to first group/guild to kill. the plague was intresting in that the only way to stop it for the server was to kill the undead guy at end of the instances.
Webberan 54 ranger Nameless...sometimes play eq1.

I recently started playing (got the game for Christmas), I play a little Swashbuckler on Highkeep named Maeya, but she's only level 11, and my video card is broken at the moment, so I can't log on =/
Playtime real sporadic, sometimes dont log in for days at a time, sometimes log in every day for a week. Like Danger said, too many other things to do, no longer psycho about it. But still having fun.
I may be interested in playing...... not playing anything right now, but wouldn't mind a few nights a week of EQ2.. Have I think a 22, 23 shaman on Highkeep.... wouldn't mind rolling a new char though.

I have a 35'ish Dirge on Mistmoore. Love the class too. Not sure if the game is worth picking up again though. I did enjoy it, but the lack of friends playing is what finally made me throw in the towel.
Me and Martrae still play on Highkeep.
I play a level 53 Rat Mystic. Dee plays a level 50 Troubador. I also have multiple characters spanning from level 10 to 24 or so. Same with mar.
we run a small guild there and anyone and everyone that needs a place there is welcome. We have no set raid schedules atm, fairly laid back as well. Anyone wanting to join is welcome to send us a PM. We usually game about 4 to 5 nights a week.
If you guys are going to do EQ2 you should get all access pass...Tons of people are still playing EQ1 which actually surprises me. Therefore if you can't find anything good in EQ2 going on EQ1 would be a good alternative.

It looks like in Feburarury I will have a much better comp set up. *crosses fingers* and if that happens, then I will log in to play with Martra and Kahar or whoever.

Never say ALWAYS....I ALWAYS play a paladin, but I'm a troubador in EQ2
Inside each person lives two wolves. One is loyal, kind, respectful, humble and open to the mystery of life. The other is greedy, jealous, hateful, afraid and blind to the wonders of life. They are in battle for your spirit. The one who wins is the one you feed.

with current optimization of the game (eq) even an old beater would probably run EQ just fine if you turned off all the new player models and spell effects.
I used to run EQ on a PIII 450Mhz with a 32MB ATI graphics card over dial up.

I have a 60 Templar on Highkeeep (Markarado) and a 23 twinked Assassin on Highkeep (Arkarado).
My graphics card is fuxed atm tho. When I get it fixed I might play a bit... I'll make sure to let you guys know. I'm definately not going back hardcore as I was when I was keeping the tank alive in Genesis for months....
well like I said the door is open in our little guild for anyone.
Me and mar tdid some working on the test the last couple of nights. I must say I was really impressed with what they have done there. The Isle of refuge takes less than 2 hours full quest to get thru. and really gives you a feel for the class by level 5. I have tested a SK and a Necro to see what they have done to the pet classes and tank classes, quite impressive. All in all I feel this is the right direction for the game. very smooth trasition from the isle to the city of choice, smooth questing for the to get the feel of the place, and now it only takes you about 1 hour or so to decide whether a class is right for you, instead for about 2 to 3 days to reach 20.
