Kyle McLaren hip check of Trevor Letowski in tonight's SJ/Columbus game. Completely clean open ice hip check, completely blasted Letowski who helecoptered several feet through the air before smacking into the boards and lying in a crumpled heap for quite a while, before needing to be helped off the ice. Just wow. Hopefully they'll replay it on Sportscenter later. Hopefully he's not seriously hurt, but it was a completely clean hit.

and i havent seen any pictures of the mclaren hit, just the crumpled mess in a blue jackets jersey against the boards.

Took 2 people supporting him to get off the ice, then the local broadcast had a reporter go check on him, and he wasn't even able to walk a straight line with 2 trainers helping him. He just got destroyed.

I didn't see the Ovechkin hit, when was the game? Maybe I can luck into seeing it on one of the weekly recap thigns if it was this past week.
