good web hosting?

i want to have a website up and running, but there's about a million different companies that do this shit, and i don't want to get stuck with a shit service.

so who has a fair price(thinking $20-$30 a month), is reliably up, and doesn't throw umpteen million websites on each server. i don't need a ton of hard drive space, i can't see how i'd use more than 25 megs. but more space that doesn't up the cost a lot is fine.
