Feeling good

Postby liquidstayce » Sat Jan 14, 2006 12:53 pm

Just had a great workout this morning and my cold is finally gone other then a few sniffles. I burned 759 calories.
10 min running warmup
40 min upper body free weights + Abs & Back (although not enough back according to Dana - he wasn't there to coach me!)bb
40 min spinning

Was starvin marvin after. Had an Amy's Breakfast Burrito - 280 cal, 2 laughing cow light cheses - 40 cal each I think?, 2 - 90 calorie kellogs bars over about a 2 hour period. It was because I didn't do a post workout shake and went grocery shopping right after the workout. Bad girl! Anyway, with the amt I burned it should be ok.

Anyone else getting in good workouts this weekend?

Good job. You should do the President's challenge and put those workouts towards earning a gold medal. :)

Cong on the str gains for you. Hope to see some of those soon too. I'm probably lifting 40% of what I use to lift. I feel like a virgin all over again.. haha.

Really hoping this is it.. no more illness, colds, etc. I am bursting with energy and motivation to really kick up the workouts again. I just need to pace myself and not go too intense to soon. So bad about overdoing it. I do know when I am working out 6 days a week it just seems like everything else in my life just falls into place so well.. total endorphin addict for sure.

Tomorrow I am doing lower body and some HIIT cardio. I might swim a little too.

When I was growing up in New Jersey the school systems had the presidentials in the 70's and 80's. Had to run a 600 yard dash, do certain amt of push ups, pull ups, sit ups, etc. It's a good idea and a shame the don't market it better. Nice little tools online at that site.

I'm cool with doing my own program. I don't need medals.. I have my health and my hot new body for a medal that is worth more then the gold! Typically if I do tracking it is on message boards or in http://www.fitday.com
