MS money or Quicken

Postby Diekan » Tue Jan 17, 2006 7:56 pm

Which do you use? I've got Quicken installed, but honestly I don't like it. Any of you use MS Money and like it?

Money 2006 is better than the older versions, but not as good as Quicken, IMO.

If you are still running Linux, you can get gnucash, and give it a go.

I use Quicken. It's an alright program, but I don't use it to do much.

I've used Quicken for years. Occasionally I try to use MS Money just to give it a go, but I always stick with Quicken. Along with TurboTax, it gives me everything I need to use, financially / tax-wise, including investments.

I'm sure MS Money is fine, it just doesn't 'do it' for me.

My real complaint with Quicken is how it updates. I download my bank account information - and it will display, or I should say only download account balances that are several days old. I'm not sure if that's a Quicken issue or a Wachovia issue.

I'm leaning to it being a Wachovia issue as my two banks download statements with no issues and are on time and up to date. Those being Fifth Third and Bank One.

BTW, Fifth Third SUX. I love Bank One.
