*bump* But just saw this thread. Their is some crazy ass easy money to be made if you have some to put in first. Just not here. Wen't down to mexico this summer to a small little place called puerto escondido. (Among the top 10 best surfing spots in the whole world, have X-games their etc..) Anyway this place is still known very little but we saw a beach-front house that was a tempting buy for 450,000. Anyway plan would be to purchase it and then property value in that place had gone up 300% in just 4 years. Buy that damn thing now for 450,000 and sell it in like 10years for an easy 700-1mil. Problem we found out though was that it would have been very hard to find any way to finance the house from the U.S. since their was no banks that we could find willing to work with the mexican banks. But I am sure their are private investors willing to work something out.

Nor does the mexican gov allow you to own beach front property if you are from America
