The players on the Medivh server opened the gates to AQ Sunday and what Kizzy didn't mention in her thread is that their server crashed repeatedly after it happened and continues to have major problems.

With 5.5 million subscribers you would think that all that money could buy some solid servers and a little bit of bandwidth and maybe some network engineers not freshly graduated from Bangalore U.

I guess thats just too much to ask from a 3rd generation MMOG.

In other news EQ seems to be running smoothly other than that minor rollback hickup.... ok it wasn't so minor but still-

fuck WoW.

Oh hell ya it crashed. As soon as the bell was rang. I sat on the boat for over an hour because of all the lag.

I like WoW it's a fun game for the simple fact I can play for a few hours with out having to go lfg for anything, and still maybe get a level. I think EQ is a better game all around in design and depth, but EQ has been around for 6 years longer it's hard to compeat with that. Give WoW two more expantions and maybe some server stabitiy it may start to have a bit of the depth that EQ has. But as of right now WoW is very repedative.

It was a 700 person q to get on the server and I think 500+ ppl in the zone itself from what I heard I have the video somewhere in my emails

I know I got a kick out of repeatedly killing Mudcrush, and i LOVED that the Beardo auctioneer took a higher percentage of the sale than any other merchant

I did my share of trains in Guk. Would bind at the top of the zone in...Then I would head down to the bottom. Summon a pet...sit him there and gate back up top. Tell said pet to follow and he would bring LOTS of friends.

My record was 27 Dragon Clan members in one shot. Did not have much use for those camp farming gooks.
