What PvP rank have any of you nt fools obtained?

Also got up to First Sgt. on druid (but she's just a potion bitch in purples now).

Blood Guard wasn't difficult to get at all, but got bored with it and more or less quit completely.

I made it up to Knight-Lieutenant, then basically stopped PVPing for months. Started up again moderately recently, and I'm back up to K-L again.

I hit R11 for the mount and immediately quit playing. Could have probably gotten to 14 if I wanted to but it's not worth it at all. The only upgrades are the weapons.

Legionnaire...we had a really good pvp team, most of which want to play alts in bg now. The grind just really wasn't worth it.

See, that's the thing, you can't do it to grind, or it gets old fast. I play for fun, and don't play if I don't feel like it. I wouldn't use any of the armor or weapons even I got up high enough in rank to where I could get them. So, played like that, the BGs are fine, the only time I get pissed off is if I get into a WSG or AB pickup group populated by utter morons. When I'm making runs in guild groups, I have a blast.

I'll do it on my hunter for the mount, but once I hit Stone Guard on Adi and got bored with it, I realized wtf am I doing this for? I already have an epic mount, and honestly I will be just as happy with MC/BWL gear.

My priest is a Grunt I think.

I think I have quit WoW for awhile though. I've gone as far as *I* can (not as anyone can, I just dont have the connections to do anything bigger than Scholo or Strat). I think I'm going to play EQ for a week, EQ2 for a week and come crawling back to WoW. It's happened twice since WoW went live.

Same, Taxx. Only did it for the mount. The 14 weapons are not worth it.. to me.

Like arlos said, you cant just grind it out, it has to be enjoyable. My guild ran me through the first seven ranks - then they stoped grinding PvP. I was left to PuG -- and that sure slowed me down. Took three weeks to leave rank 10 because I was competing with people that could play half as long and get twice as much honor.

I enjoy BG's on occasion now, but some days every battleground I touch ends up being 4v1 rape stuff. A whole lot of the reason I run BG is the mysterious concept of 1v1, or even decent 2v1. Surely its the worst place to look for a good matchup but its easiyer to find allys than anywhere else.

..But my targets always run from me anyway

Any suggestion for a dwarf hunter that gets jablowned in every bg setting other than "go level up"?




They see me, they come running, they run me over like a lawnmower. (Them god damned career 49's I was talking about.)

If you can avoid being seen you can do some damage.

I put hunters at the top of my -to kill- list, I'd say I probably target them before casters. Not a lot of armor, doing decent damage from the background. ..that and I really dislike night elf hunters. About 1/3rd of the time they dont even change targets to stop me from killing them.

Then I usually assist them and heal whoever they were shooting.

feign death actually fools them half the time-that's what cracks me up.



I did kick some casters asses perched up on a ledge though. It just never fails once I start on a caster, 3 orc warriors come running and give me the quick end option. I don't change targets, I just stay on the caster hoping to end him before they end me.

I'm a Paladin, no one ever runs from me. Well, until I get them to like 20%, THEN they run, cause they know there's not dick-all I can do about it. heh.

I got to BG then got sick of it now im working on exalted in av for my shm.

Rank 9 is all I got to. I was going to try for Centurion for the full set of armor. Then I was invited to a guild just starting farm status on MC. So I quit. I think I am now down to rank 5 and rarely do BGs anymore.

Got exalted with Frostwolf from friendly in a week while I had the flu. It burned me out, badly.
