k so I'm a little late.. but why was the filter changed to say african american for the n word?

I personally detest the n word, but to me it's more offensive for you to assume and edit it to mean a black person than for someone to actually use the word in any other context.

Wouldn't a better solution be just to bloop it out (which I'm totally for, being as I hate the word no matter whom it's used on), and not say that any time someone says it it means african american? Not only do you alienate posters by making them look like terrible people, but you're rewording posts to be taken completely out of context.

This entire board has gone down the shithole. I stopped reading this piece of shit forum... and here's why:

1. Ralf; this idiot doesn't deserve to live. If I had to put a value on Ralf's opinion, I'd say it *might* be worth the dog turd my neighbor's mutt so conveniently placed under the tree in my front yard this morning. His humor is stale and his posts are annoying. Typically, if I see his avatar, I scroll right over whatever ignorant piece of refuse he decided to chime in with... but even his fucking avatar makes me want to gouge my fucking eyes out.

2. Goose; the go-to guy for Ralf when his wit seems to run dry.

3. Harrison; the village idiot of the NT. I read Finawin's posts and all I see is a vacuous expanse of retardation.

4. Kizzy; the white trash gutterslut of the NT... unfit for motherhood and an all around skank.

5. Censorship; if you want to put a handle on a bunch of racists in current affairs, then that's cool... but the whole board? That's disturbing... and to boot, to do it ninja-style without the consultation of the community? That's NOT what the NT is about. It has never been about that. I daresay, Lyion, that your little censorship campaign is bordering on communism. If you want to censor someone, censor the aforemention idiots who don't know the meaning of contribution. Even fucking Mindia contributed to threads in his own sadistic way.

In conclusion, I loved this forum. It was fun reading what people's general opinions were on things. It was entertaining to sift through, and contribute to some great drama. Even though his views are on the opposite side of the political spectrum from mine, I even enjoyed reading about arlos' thoughts on politics and the current situation(s) in the government. I've spent many an early morning and many a late night laughing and pondering... and the NT was the catalyst. Now, she's nothing more than a shadow of her former self.
