One to Sixty in Two days, Thirteen Hours, and Two minutes.

Personal record, I'm happy.

Would have been better if I didn't leave him on swimming in a circle that one night...

I made it to 50 with less than 24 Hrs played time. Not sure if that's good but it was no where near I could have done when I left.

In the new system, how do you keep skills up while leveling so fast? Or do you catch up at the end? I imagine it's a real pain for melee to keep up all of their melee techniques (2hs, 1hs, 1hb, etc.). Or have they gotten rid of all that?

What I did was go to an arena and wail on a pet for about 5 hours.

(That's what I was doing last weekend for all the people who sent me tells with no response).

My defense skill is awful though.

It must be fun to reach such a high level so quickly, but are all the non-old school high-level chars retards now?

yeah, not possible to keep skills up to date at all going that fast

ps, 1-58 has nothing to do with anything other than Kunark content

Not counting Kunark, weren't they saying that they have made the game like WoW, where you can level even faster than before and much easier-or was that something else?

Its easy as hell to level nowadays in EQ, but 4 hours beats weeks of grouping with dipshits.

It took me almost 2 1/2 years of gaming to get to level 60 with my Iksar monk. That's just wacked how they nerfed the game now. It'd be like playing with ebayers all the time.

My first character took like 3 years to get to level 60, I just thought it was cool that finally leveling so many characters paid off in that I could PL one that I wanted to try out so fast.

Levelling in EQ is much, much easier than WOW right now.

I took my beastlord from 60 to 70 in roughly a weekend real time.

My rogue has under 3 days of playtime and is 66. She'll be 70 next week.

My problem is finding a steady group to play with when I'm on, since I'm a returning n00b, without keys, time gear, etc

What did they do to make leveling so much easier? Tempted to level up a necro, just didn't want to take ages to catch it up to the rest of my chars.

it's much much easier with classes that can AE, but it's doable with any class if you're quick

all you really need is a 65+ druid

have the druid pull every mob in Nurga

let the mobs die on the druids damage shield (druid heals himself to hold agro

the toon you want to PL needs to do at least 1 damage to each mob

rinse repeat

bards are especially easy to do this way because the lvl 2 song is as close to unresistable as you can get

starting in SolA is probably easier for the 1st couple of levels, but it's fast, and almost impossible to fuck up

Yup, but even without double exp thats what, two weekends?

My beastlord has went from 57 to 68 in the last week. I'm hoping to get 60 before Tuesdays patch.

Exp is much easier, and levelling is certainly simpler than before.
