Can i do this with my ram?

The ram that came with my computer was 256mb 1rx16 pc2-3200U-333-11-C1 (2 of them) and I replaced it with Kingston KVR400D2N3/1G 1GB 400MHz DDR2 PC2-3200 DIMM Memory Upgrade

Think I could leave the 2-256's in along with the 1 gig one without any problems or slowdowns?

Your 400MHZ ram will run at 333 but you should be ok.
