Yeah manufactured..... oh wait no. No one set them up, they made their group which they called "Inner City Posse" when they were kids, it was a pipe dream and with drive and determination they marketed themselves like hell. Their first cd was made by putting two radios next to each other, one playing beats and one recording, Jay stuck his head in between and rapped. Their second CD was made on a kareoke machine. They started at the bottom and worked their way to where they were today through sheer determination. Detriot ghetto rap is most certainly underground. The only reason people even know of ICP is because they pushed to make themselves known. Besides the fact that their record label is most certainly underground, I could name people on it that you have never fucking heard of because they are not mainstream. However, they are hugely sucessful and have a large underground following.

Honestly, if you want to say you don't like something because of how it sounds, fine I am about respecting that. However, if you are gonna pull some bullshit out of your ass without even checking if its remotely true, expect to hear back from me.

Btw they NEVER recieved support from Sharon. Are you fucking retarded? Sharon managed Coal Chamber who once toured with ICP, ICP dropped Coal Chamber from their tour because their mainstream fans were not mixing well with ICPs crowd and a Coal Chamber rep and ICP were on Howard Stern basically peacefully talking it out, and Sharon came on and started talking shit, and Jay basically told her to suck a dick. She then told them if an album by them ever went platinum (gold? I dunno) that she would give them something like 10 or 50 grand because thats how sure she was they were gonna fail. To this day, she refuses to pay up on the bet, even when ICP told her to donate the money to a charity instead and just call it even.

You're right though, I shouldn't dislike ICP because of any reason other than the fact their music is terrible, the fact that they lick cock as musicians and that the majority of their listeners are bottom feeding shitstains who would most likely improve the economy upon suicide (excluding present company of course).

I was spending my time with people that regularly would voyage into a foreign shamanic landscape, in order to ask their power animal for guidance, and I wanted to be there too.

So I participated in a couple of sessions meant to entice a shamanic journey, but try as I may, nothing ever happened. Staying frustratingly rooted in my body, I figured that I was obviously not ready to journey yet, though the whole theme had me truly fascinated

Pretty much. He once released a flier when he was trying to promote himself saying ICP would be playing at his party.
