The Olympic team are made up of the citizens of that country not where they play in the professional leagues. Otherwise you'll swedes, russians, canadian, and others playing for the US.

the simple concept that an individual would play for their country of citizenship is KIND OF THE BASIS OF THE OLYMPICS......

He's back now that he doesn't play for Toronto anymore. I'm very pleased about that too.
