Case recommendation

Postby Jimmy Durante » Tue Feb 28, 2006 9:19 am

I currently have an Antec midtower which, although quite good, is a bit loud for my tastes and is getting a bit long in the tooth. I'm looking for a new case and my main concern is lack of volume as it's primary use is as a home office machine. I am currently considering this one:

Would there be any other models worth considering?

TIA

I use a Shuttle, whisper quiet. I have 2 in my office right now and I can't hear them except when I reboot the one that is running RAID-0.

You do not want that case. First, your avg powersupply cables are not long enough for the case. The power supply being on the bottom is seperated in a weird way from the mother board. Also the way they have cooling vents setup on the inside, its a royal pain to get anythign done inside. The front door is junk, it doesn't close properly on any of the ones I have seen. I owned one for about 1 day before I got sick of it.

I have http://www.asysusa.com/product_info.php ... ucts_id=56 and I love it.

Do a search for Coolermaster cases on Newegg Jimmy, high quality stuff.
You were right Tikker. We suck.
