LOL...partisan teachings. My daughter went to public school last year and came home and informed me that I had to vote for George Bush because he was the best. Neither Kahar or I even mention elections or politics to our kids. When they get older we'll cross that bridge, but I certainly intend for them to learn to see both sides of an issue and then make an informed decision. They can disagree with me if they like, but they better be able to defend their position. :)

You really have no clue how much I bend over backwards in real life situations to see all sides of a problem before making a decision or forming an opinion.
Inside each person lives two wolves. One is loyal, kind, respectful, humble and open to the mystery of life. The other is greedy, jealous, hateful, afraid and blind to the wonders of life. They are in battle for your spirit. The one who wins is the one you feed.

1 retarded teacher doesn't make school bad. I bet if you sat down with my mother for even 30 minutes you'd have a different outlook on things.

I like to think I can read people extremely well on this board and I'm rarely wrong. So here's what I think is the situation. Let me know if I'm wrong with any of these.

1) i bet you and Kahar never played any sports in school and I bet your children don't have an althetic bone in their body

2) i bet you and Kahar were "nerds" in school and were picked on a lot

3) i bet you didn't do very many school activities if any at all

4) i bet you were never invited to parties or gatherings with friends from school

I don't expect you to answer but i'm pretty sure I'm pretty close. So I think you're pretty bitter with your high school/school experiences and are hoping your children won't have to "suffer" the same way you did through school since you were both in fact socially inept and liked to think you were non-conformist aka nerds with no social standing.

As opposed to what? Taxx?

Here is a perfect example. Your family. Your sister is like queen bee wherever she goes to school, she is popular and well liked, and you have called her a slut on more than one occasion, but we won't go into the personal specifics here. THen there is your little brother, who is much like your sister, because he is outgoing and a very well liked kid. I can remember taking him and his cankle friend to the movies and everyone from jocks to stoners to geeks would come up and say Hi to him, and he was nice to everyone. Perfect example of what socializing in school could do. Then there was you. You went to a public school system, yet somehow you got the superiority complex. You didn't have alot of friends, just a few close ones. You also didn't talk to anyone else or socialize and spent all your time in your room playing EQ. YOu went to a tech center in a mall strip for college, and landed a "good" job making $10 an hour getting you out of being a pizza delivery driver because your boss plays golf with your family. You are (or were, and I doubt you have changed) very disrepectful to your parents.

If Kahar and Martrae's kids turn out any better than you, it won't be a big loss that they were homeschooled.

I'm curious as to how the homeschooled kids you know are socially inept. Is it because the parents never socialized or simply because the kids act more comfortable with adults than other kids? I'd love some examples, seriously.

Homeschooled kids never have learn the mental toughness to deal with bullies and miscreants, nor do they usually end up as competitive simply because they don't have as much competition

I went to highschool with half a dozen or so kids who'd been homeschooled from k-10 and when they finally showed up at highschool they were so out of the loop it wasn't even funny

I mean, they did alright with their schoolwork, and in small groups they functioned fine

put them in a classroom of 20-30 other kids, and they were lost without the full attention that their mommy gave them

have some random kid decide that they didn't like them, and they had no clue how to deal with it at all without mommy there to protect them

Unless you intend to keep your kids living with you at home for the rest of their lives, you're doing them a disservice

you're preventing them from learning to work with a wide range of people from a young age

lol wow, you don't know much about me at all.

1) EQ wasn't even launched until i was out of school and was working as a grocery manager making $12 straight out of high school

2) I made a hell of a lot more money delivering pizzas than you did going to work 2 days a week

3) my "boss" that my parents know hasn't worked at my company since April 2005 and I now make over twice what I did when you were living here and have much more responsibility

4) my parents never liked you

5) my brother isn't in jail for murder, and i'm not divorced with 2 kids who have moved through 3 states

lets see. I was Track and field my freshman, Sophmore and junior letters all three years. First 2 years I lettered in 300 meter. Junior year( I added 18 inches to height and quite a bit of body mass) I went to shot put and discus, also Javelin lettered there to. Football was boring to me.

Lets see was I a nerd...got decent grades...was a good at computers...I extorted money from the jocks on the basketball team (all of which were small than me) and the football team for money to finish reports because they were too fucking stupid to carry a pencil to clasds let alone use it. I hung out with just about everyone as long as you were not retarded and a moron(alas, tacks I doubt we would have ever been friends).

School functions were not my thing my senior year but I was very active in school functions both approved by the board and disapproved by the board. Back in my day those disapproval things were called hell raising. I went to state my junior year for acting (forensics) My redition of Hamelot took me to semi finals. I played multiple band insturments, including trombone, trumpet and Susaphone. All of which I was never less than 2nd chair.

I did not attend too many of the parties but I was invited to them. I did run a driver service for my friends that preferred to get drunk or intoxicated. It was not my thing. When I went to the parties I had a few drinks but never to excess. Most of the time the parties landed on days when I was working. Yeah amazing I preffered to earn my money instead of letting daddy give it to me. In working on those days I became a manager of a gaming and hobby shop pulling in about 8.00 an hour (Back in 90 that was decent bread for a 17 year old)

So yeah I was a nerd, Yeah I was in some sports, no I was fairly popular, I was only picked on by a few select people, mainly cause they were dating my sister a then senior. That changed fairly quickly when one of them decided to get a littl active with her against her permission. 1 busted nose and 2 cracked ribs later, somehow he did not pick on me.

but sacking groceries is what jocks like him do best. No mental functions needed...

of course Driving pizza around is a little more high brow since he had to actually learn to read to find the place.

Just a heads up that the personal attacks need to stop in this forum. Yesterday.

I'm tired of the dick waving. If you want to be nasty, take it to EE. It doesn't belong here.
