SF call to impeach Bush

The San Francisco Board of Supervisors is at it once again. It has passed a resolution calling for impeachment of President Bush.


Here is some of the other resolutions that the Board had passed recently:

- Condemning the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China.

- Insisting that the U.S. government comply with international laws on the use of torture.

- Urging Congress to demand that Bush withdraw American troops from Iraq.

- Demanding that Fox News fire Bill O’Reilly.

I don't like violence anymore than the liberals do. I've been in a war and I can honestly say it's not something I want to go through again, nor do I want anyone else to have to go through.

However, often, and sadly, we must resort to violence to combat violence. The extreme factions of the Middle East do not accept the peaceful means to resolve situations. Killing anyone who disagrees with them is what they know - it's how they function. If they could they would kill every single one of us, for no other reason than because we're American - the great satan - the infidels.

Do you really think that using "peace" talk with a country like Iran is going to work to stop them from building nuclear weapons? Hell no it won't. It will take having to go in there and forcefully dealing with the problem. They're not going to respond to words - they will respond to bombs and bullets though.

The problem with the liberals is that they don't seem to understand this. They seem to think that with hugs and flowers all problems can be resolved - but that's not how the real world works.

If someone breaks into my home and I feel that my life and the life of my wife (if I had one - which at this in time I don't want one) is danger - you're damn right I'm going to resort to violence and put a bullet between the intruders eyes. I'll be damned if I'm going to try and "reason" with him, try to escape, or allow myself and family to be victimized because the poor bastard might have a bad childhood and I should be more understanding of his plight. With human nature being what it is - there is a time and place for violence - and it is to bad - and I do hope that someday we can mature past this point, but some how I don't ever see that happening within our life times.

We were attacked, we lost thousands of our fellow Americans (I don't give a damn what color, race, religion they were), we have countries that are trying to build nuclear weapons, who are trying to get control of our ports, who want nothing more than to see us dead - and if we have to resort to beating the piss out of a terrorist to get information - fuck it - so be it. I'm sick of trying "talk" to these animals.

Let's not lose site of the hypocrisy of the liberals here. An American officer points a pistol at the head of a piece of shit terrorist to get valuable information and the liberals go ape shit wanting him put in jail. What are we fighting for? We're not fighting for world peace. We're not fighting for the safety of other people. We are fighting to ensure the safety of Americans. That's what our military is there for. We have every right to do that. The rest of the world deserves no say in what we do. You might say that this should go both ways. When Iran is building nuclear missiles it is in our best interest to stop them. They don't have the right to build these because we have the right to say they can't, and we're a hell of a lot more powerful country.
