My characters don't exist now?

Did I miss someting here along the way? I thought they 'stored' our char's for ever?

I think it's something like after 6 months there is no guarantee they'll still be around.

strange.... although now that i think about it hell i'm not sure if i changed my old password or not - it's been over a year or longer sinse i logged into eq1.

anyway, until i get this issue resolved i have made a new diekan (rogue of course) on the ole nameless... hopefully i'll be able to get the 65 diekan back and move logged to the nameless soon. going to suck having to start over from level 1 again - or two sinse i 'broke out of jail.'

Even if you did have to start to scratch, it is MUCH easier now. Been back about a month and already in the 50's (could be much higher) and epic'd with my bard from scratch.

Anyways, nothing like getting your char back with all gear/inventory twice. Dump shit to an alt, delete, wait a week, get it back, dump shit to an alt, delete, wait a week, get it back..Especially when it's a bazaar mule.

well Sony can't seem to find any record of the rogue... basically giving me "yes sir we still suck more ass at customer service than AOL and Microsoft COMBINED - nothing has changed since you've left and come back - sorry we're a bunch of fucktards who couldn't give a shit less about our customers being happy because we have several million paying per month so we don't care if we lose a few along the way..." speech.

Might go back to EQ II and play the ranger again - not really up to starting back from level 1... not after having had planes gear / weapons - shit that takes a good deal of time to accumulate.

I started a char, he's level 15 now. Jazendar is his name like old times, am having a blast killing shit in kurns and such. WTB fungi, would make it easier.

Royally sucks ass having to re-fucking start over though. No keys, gear, levels, anything.

Just make a habit of doing the dungeons you missed the first time

hit up dalnir, nurga, droga, najena, sola, guk, etc etc

impossible to beat the old world and kunark zones for xps

runny eye is much fun as well
