Ok so I got a new digi cam that also does like 5 mins of video. I can upload and save my pictures just fine, but I cant figure out how to save the movie file on my computer and be able to email it. It will only play the file if my cam is pluged in and it wont let me email it from there. It opens and plays in windows media and real player, I am so confused ..... :dunno:

You need to move it from the camera to a folder on your pc

chances are it's f00king enormous too, and you'll have to re-encode it to an email friendly format

And unforcunatly when you do convert it into a email friendly size file, it's going to look like dog shit. Honestly your better off burning it to a disk, once you get it onto your pc, and then mailing that to the person if you want them to acctually be able to see what you recorded, with any sembelance of quality.

Load it to a folder then save it on putfile.com or something. I think it automatically recodes it to make it shareable. Or whatever.

You know, the main issue is that you didn't buy a digital SLR camera. Those don't give you the option to capture 'movies' and you wouldn't be confused! You would only need to go get yourself a camcorder.

You are welcome
