Thanks for those posts. I'm very uneasy with what I've seen from Vanguard. If MS is backing it, it'll probably end up having a ton of bugs and design issues.

I found them encouraging. I had been hearing mostly bad things from Beta (with the exception of the marketing-oriented Oloh posts and Goose's initial assessment), and these seem to be an attempt to mend the negative impressions. For example, I had read (The Safehouse, I think) that the parley system was a mini-game in itself which made it a huge PITA to find quests, etc. In one of the newsletters they mention that they're streamlining it.
