Does anyone know anything about this guild? I would like honest opinions please and possibly a link to their website.
Thanks

They like to train CoDecay zoneline when you are xping there.
They like to accuse you of trying to steal Doomshade when your raid is sitting at the zoneline twiddling their thumbs (we had already watched them wipe twice on Rumblecrush while we were still forming)
Apparently they "raid" Ssra every night. I guess key camps count as raids?
Their leader argued in a pickup group about group leadership experience. He had trained 3 levels of mana enchancement (+100 mana total) and was claiming it was Flowing Thought 3 and that he should be group leader over someone with 7 different group leadership abilities.
My honest opinion of "Wrath of Newbs"? Steer clear.

It's http://www.eqwrathofheaven.com to get to the forum and wrathofheaven.guildwizard.com to see what we have killed lately, and all I can say is Donnel doesn't know us, he doesn't represent us, he doesn't know what we do, that is all.

I may not represent you, but I don't have to. He asked for honest opinions, and I gave mine. Everything I have said is true based on the perception you have provided to me. Prove me wrong and I will change my view.

It's true that members get paranoid over mobs, only because we're used to getting steamrolled when we first started out. We don't call farming ssra keys a raid and we certainly aren't there every night, we farm keys while waiting for bosses that are schuduled to spawn show up. CoDecay is a raid zone, it sucks but train happens, sorry. Our leader is good at what he does, but like any leader sometimes he is wrong. It's too bad you have such a bleak outlook on us but apart from a few members I'd like to get rid of, I think we have a good team of talented and eager to improve players.
Fair enough.
CoDecay may be a raid zone, but a few of your illustrious members, pulled 3 mobs and zoned them off on us. We killed em, but it still wasn't pretty, and frankly I felt it spoke volumes of the generally immature attitude I have seen from alot of your members including your guild leader...
Mebbe my opinion will change, but it will take alot of "growing up" by people who have already left a bad impression on myself and my members.

Well I apologize if anything I said was taken rudely, but I was reacting to the accusation that we were there to steal Doomshade.
I will be honest though, alot of times I don't speak in ooc or whatever unless I meant it in jest, so again I apologize if it was taken the wrong way.

I expect the possibility of a train, but what I thought I had mentioned earlier (see the comment about "a few of your illustrious members pulled 3 mobs and zoned them off on us") was that these people were not there for xp themselves, frankly I don't care why they were there, the fact is, they were standing around the zoneline (3 of them) pulled a few mobs for no apparent reason, and then zoned em off. The only thing that came to my mind based on the circustances was that it was intentional. I don't really care if it was, it just left a bad impression on me.
Oh, and one of the three was an officer.

The only prblem I have had with WoH was with one officer (cant remember the guys name for the life of me) who asked my SK if she wanted to join the guild. I told him no thanks and that I was not looking for a guild and he just wouldnt give up. I understand trying to recruit people, but when they say no thanks then its time to back off. He only backed off when i threatened to ignore him because I was so irritated.
Other than that any WoH members I have dealt with have been very nice.

If you fight at the zoneline, you risk getting trained in any zone, from crushbone to PoEarth. That is Everquest. Welcome to the game.

I used to train people in crushbone... I would also PNP the shiney brass shield guy when I was 60 for faction shit.
then I would train him all over and get pplz killed.
especially ppl at the zone line

Which is all fine and dandy and I accept that 100% and always have. This particular gripe was that they pulled those mobs for no other reason then to train us, which leaves a bad impression, yes?
This whole discussion is not about xping tactics at zonelines and dodging trains, it's about honest opinions of a guild, and a guild who pulls mobs onto an experience group for no other reason then because they want to (again, impression based on the circumstances) then that doesn't make for a good opinion.

When is it ever a good idea to dump your rough pull on someone else?
silvestra wrote:*boggle* Thats just silly
Silly only if you take into account that in CoD if enough warning is given (ooc or shouting train) a group can back off to the area near the throne and will not be agroed by a train if the trainer goes directly around the corner to the zone out rock. But I get the indication that this not why you were calling this silly.
Standing and dying when you get in over your head and have no other recourse (evac, mez/memblur/camp, or whatever else keeps you from dying) rather then brining down your problems on someone else is a respectful thing to do... unfortunatly more and more people would rather kill everyone else in the zone rather then lose some exp/time due to their own mistake.
Edit:
I almost forgot I was going to ask Johnn, is Riatha still tagged with your guild?
