Oblivion - Who is buying it at release

meh, don't worry about how long it takes
this is going to sound somewhat gay, but pick a playstyle/roleplay char, and just follow the story thru that way
Right now, it's been a couple levels since I touched the main story line because I'm busy doing thieves guild quests, and closing oblivion gates, and systematically stealing everything of any value from stringard or wtf that town is called

are there actually vendors to sell all the shit you steal btw?
cause i'd steal like a million-bajillion gold worth of items in morrowind, but all the vendors were like taco bell, no more than $50 in their register, and they can't break a $100
the only way to make any money was to mod the vendors, or seek out the rich mud crab, or that imp vendor in the orc house.

hurrrrrrrrrrrrrr good one! Instead why don't you provide a counter-point as to why the dungeons are oh-so-fun and revolutionary....probably because you can't. Why are these people all attacking me? Why do none of them try to communicate? Why are there these random cultist groups in broken down ruins randomly strewn across the land?

if you join the Thieves Guild you gain access to fences in various towns that will buy stolen property
the more stolen stuff you fence, the better missions you get from the doyen
And Taxx
I hear you with the random people who just attack for no reason, and the seemingly pointlessness of a lot of the random ruins/dungeons you run into
I still feel ok with the $60 I spent on the game tho
Yeah I kinda did race through to try to finish everything asap.... no real reason why but yeah I finished most misc quests and crap.... and I know I did lol I have a list of all quests and shit. just need thieves guild and shit pretty much now. I might try the game again with a caster though I did melee this first one.

I've been playing a few hours at a spot, and Its very enjoyable.
The quests and NPC interaction is good. The sidequests and factions aren't as in depth as MW, but easier to work through without a lot of the headaches.
The scenery and exploration is good, as well.
Fun, fun.
