Any NT type guilds need a gimp?

Post by Lyion »

I'm looking to move off Frostwolf since most of my DAOC type friends went back to DAOC, which I don't understand and is a thread in and of itself as that game to me isn't good. Plus I've been gone from WOW since late last year and looking to start a new character.

I'd like to find a guild that raids a few nights and has fun NT people who know how to play and don't waste assloads of time.

I plan on vrooming to 60 as I've done it before. Class recommendations are good. Just no Mage or Paladin, as I've done that route.

Shaman was fun if you like being a veritable PvE God (Rogue as well)

As far as PvP goes, people are fucking retards, you'll mow through everyone either way.

I'm moreso looking for a set group, versus a class to WOW with. I don't mind playing any class. What's more important is not doing pickups, which is what I'd be relegated to on FW.

Gyp's, Aubry,(if you remeber him) created a CT on Malfurion Hord side. They are 60 and I'll be there shortly, we are going to start activly recruting once we all hit 60 to start raiding. Although I doubt we'll raid hard core.

Not really looking for 'hardcore'. Just a few nights a week. Especially once summer gets here.

I was Horde on FW, Naet. Troll Mage to be specific. I didn't know anyone from NT there, and have been gone for 6+ months.

I haven't seen anyone I know here who plays on FW. Who on NT is there?

Thanks Don. You're on PST, right? That'd be my only problem as my main playtime is generally geared for CST/EST.

What level are you, and what are your plans, Don? I'm not really interested in spending a ton of time going from 1-60 as I've pretty much done that twice, unless the levelling experience/zones have changed and content has been added.

Well you'd better find someone else then lol

I play mainly to play with my brother in law and my friend. I would be 60 already I'm sure if I wasn't holding back/playing alts so they can keep up as they don't play nearly as much as I do.

We have our own guild with a few other "old fogeys" that we've met on the server, but have no real plans other then perhaps tagging along with a bigger guild when it comes time for that.

We do instances and group for quests and are on a pvp server so do alot of that too (world pvp, only do bg's if we are bored of questing).

36 atm. will prolly be 40 by next weekend.

Edit: Horde btw

I'll make an alt to group, but I'd also like to join a somewhat set raid/endgame group, if I can find a fairly steady group.

Explain in some of the later encounters why you would ever prefer a shaman over a paladin in Ahn'Qiraj. I'm listening.
