I guess that depends on the size of the train, and how much if any warning you had
.

Riatha #12?
Ok I could understand if you were pissed if it was intentional. Why would 3 members purposely train mobs on your gimp asses? Why would they give a shit what a bunch of noobs at the zoneline are doing. You think you're important, you're not.
Which is all fine and dandy and I accept that 100% and always have. This particular gripe was that they pulled those mobs for no other reason then to train us, which leaves a bad impression, yes?

oooooooooh newb
One should not pass judgement on an entire guild just because there is one asshole in it. There are many assholes in my guild...sometimes I am a major asshole.
In fact...I bet sometimes you are an asshole too.
edit: oops

Zone campers = The Suck.
This has always been true. When you camp the zone you run the risk of dying to a train. Why? Its the only way out for most people. Not every warrior can cast gate, nor can every druid get evac off fast enough so... they run. Its only natural.
If you decide to camp the zone line then you MUST expect to die because some noob trained the zone to avoid dying. If you wanna whine, bitch and complain about the the trains that happen at a zone line then: DONT CAMP THE ZONE LINE. This has been true since before Kunark, why people insist on bitching about it now makes absolutely no sense to me.
Cliff Notes:
Camp the zone, get trained.

When did I whine about Doomshade? I said we were accused of trying to steal Doomshade, which we were not doing. I didn't say anything about poor us who got beat to a spawn.
What's your character's name again Taxx, and what guild are you in? What do you raid on a regular basis? Do you contribute anything to this community of EQ players besides a bad attitude and lame one liners? Judging by your other responses, I am guessing not. Call me a newb if you want but give me some kind of reference point for your greatness so one day I can hope to be as cool as you.
No, the Light Warriors are not a high level guild, we just got started 6 months or so ago, but who are you to say we are newbs considering the work that we have put in during that time?
EDIT: because Silvestra posted while I was typing
I don't think they MEANT to train us, however and I think it is readily agreeable that if you train a zoneline the curteous thing to do is at least give a warning. This did not happen, hence the bad feelings.
And that gives him a right to label me a newb because I raid Luclin and early PoP instead of the EP's?
If I was whining that someone had stolen our Lord Pickclaw or taken our camp at Orc 2, I would understand being called a newb, but I take offense since no one can deny that we have done well for ourselves.

I hate it when people can't admit when they are wrong.
Anyway to answer the original question, WoH seems to be a guild that has some worthy players that really have set some goals for the guild and are trying to achieve those goals. It may be worth looking into. In my opinion, when I left they were trying to ready themselves for the planes by focusing on the Emp and VT.

He only backed off when i threatened to ignore him because I was so irritated.
Other than that any WoH members I have dealt with have been very nice.
Likely it was Brokaa, our recruiting officer that was a major douche and got the boot.

When is it ever a good idea to dump your rough pull on someone else?silvestra wrote:*boggle* Thats just silly
Silly only if you take into account that in CoD if enough warning is given (ooc or shouting train) a group can back off to the area near the throne and will not be agroed by a train if the trainer goes directly around the corner to the zone out rock. But I get the indication that this not why you were calling this silly.
Standing and dying when you get in over your head and have no other recourse (evac, mez/memblur/camp, or whatever else keeps you from dying) rather then brining down your problems on someone else is a respectful thing to do... unfortunatly more and more people would rather kill everyone else in the zone rather then lose some exp/time due to their own mistake.
Edit:
I almost forgot I was going to ask Johnn, is Riatha still tagged with your guild?
I don't know, I'll check tonight

Yup, I believe that was the name. Like I siad, trying to recruit is fine and all, but it just urked me when he kept on after numerous times of saying no.
BTW, Tell Bratticuss I said Hi! He is a very good friend of mine and you guys are very lucky to have him. ^_^
