Infinite Money - Female Orc - Kvatch
There is an exploit if you can find a person that will buy items that is outside a city while on a horse. The easiest to get to is an orc woman who buys and sells weapons in the camp just outside the main gate to Kvatch. Obtain a very high valued weapon and equip it, go to the camp and while on your horse with the weapon equipped sell this item to her and you will receive the gold for the weapon, however as you are on your horse the game will not allow you to unequip weapons. The result is that you sell the item however it will not leave your inventory so you can sell it again and again until you have the amount of gold you feel happy with. The upside to this exploit is that it is faster than above and you can raise your mercantile skills as you are trading to recieve the gold.

Note — This will only net you 200g per sale, as she only has 200g on her.

This really works. I just made 60k gold in about 10 minutes.

only cheat I had to do was when one one of my saves got corrupted and I did not plan on spending 3hours doing the same run here, then run here, thing. I did the cheat to move to Quest marker..cut my time to catch up to where I was down to about 3 minutes.

As for mods, I have a few of them. I have the wizards tower mod(adds quest and also gives you a wizards tower as a house when your finished.)

The glass armour color changer, since the color green for glass armour is just fuggin nasty. This allows you to buy black, red, green, blue and white. No significant change in the game.

Also the Human blood bottles for vampires. allows to to purchase from the Count of Skingard, bottles of Human blood. So if you are caught out in sunlight you can down a bottle or two, and your fine.

Its bad enough I save and reload when my lockpicks break. Anything deeper and I'd feel Emoish.

I never use cheats in games. I never understood the reasoning behind it.

there's a couple mods that looked interesting


1 was to slow down the leveling process(ie, 20 skill ups to gain a level) and another was to remove awesome magic armour/weapons from trivial random encounters

the only cheating i've done so far is to use the console to give me back my wizards staff. i set it down to make some room, then forgot where i put it =/

btw what's the most money anyone's seen on a vendor? wanna know who to sell to, and the highest i've seen is 1,000 or maybe 1,200.

I do like the different colour glass mod. give a little mofe eye candy to it.

like I said I dont cheat unless a) my character is cockblocked on a quest (i.e. game glitch) this has happened twice. Some asshole says "Come back tomarrow Ill have it done. I rest for 24 hours and come back and the dick says the same thing. Found it has to do with the time. Dont start a quest that has a 24hour timer if it is past 2200. It sometimes geeks and your stuck. at this point I use a cheat to progress to next step. b) my character gets hosed and the only save point i have is my autosave(which unfortunately is hosed) and my last save some 3hours prior. I have had 2 bad autosaves. Found it has something to do with windows net1.1 I patch it up and have not had problems since.

I have a question i am hearing that oblivion for 360 is better then pc can anyone speculate, agree or disagree?
I am probably going to purchase it tonight

if you've got a PoS pc, then go with the xbox one

if your pc is fine, buy whichever one is cheaper

the problem I see with the Xbox version is the sluggishness of the controller.(mostly waht people are bitching about) some of the selections become cumbersome. This was the biggest complaint on Penny Arcade...QT3, and Black science institue.

Even the PC interface is obviously made for the 360 and then ported to the PC. I would think it would be more intuitive with a controller.

The game plays nearly the same on both.

The big reason to go for the PC version is the mods. If you don't have any interest in mods, you're probably better off with the 360 version.

mods make the game...additional quests, additional content, boosted graphics etc...

Actually looks better on my 360. Controls are done very well, but take getting used to. As far as mods are concerned, some are already out there for the 360, but only available through xbox live.

The graphics on the 360 are insane. Much better than my laptop can do.

i always found that with cheats/hacks/whatever it tended to be a slippery slope of "just one more thing" then by the time i stop for a second, i don't even find it fun to play normal.....

always ends up ruining the game i am playing

the challenge seems to be what makes the game exciting in teh first place, dminishing that ends up making the game foundationally unintersteing.....
