Hey Adivina, can you comment on my "Super savvy web designer" thread over in the Tech Support phorum?

I need to start getting things in line to design my own Tiger Direct site. I also need some sort of backend that I can use to track orders, customer info (like boob size). The backend needs to be scalable and editable so I can add future fields for various information.

Any professional advice would be appreciated. If you have any current info on what is the design standards/programs in use now for e-commerce web design as well as the future of the industry that could be useful too.

Thx.

Finish your degree and come back in a year and ask yourself this same question.

Getting into other schools will be easier once you finish your degree as well.

Your 3 years are most certainly not a waste. Web design may not be in your future, but its something you know how to do. I would most certainly recomend you finish your degree, if nothing else, its somehting to fall back on if you are in need of $$ to get by. Vet school is not cheap in any way, you may find you can get side programming jobs on the way to help offset the cost a bit.
For to win one hundred victories in one hundred battles is not the acme of skill. To subdue the enemy without fighting is the acme of skill.
