Britain,France,Australia and New Zealand declare war

Sep 10th 1939

Canada declares war

Dec 7th 1941

Bombing of Pearl Harbor
America declares war

Took 2 years and 3 months for the U.S to enter the war. Up to the time of the actual bombing the U.S was still in negotiations with Japan.
