Hello to all that remember me. This is my first post on The Nameless Tavern in over 4 years. =) I've been reading this forum a bit and hardly recognize anyone, which is exactly what I expected. Those that I did recognize triggered some crazy memories I had in my time of being an EverQuest addict.

This thread brought back a ton of memories, one of which being the Sos vs Euphoria NTOV conflict. I remember it as if it happened yesterday so I will tell you guys the short version of the story from my point of view.

The night started with both guilds having very few players online but both rushed to the hatchling hall to get ready to kill Aaryonar. I was the main puller as always and at the time, my Claws of Veeshan faction was deeply in the 'Dubious' level. So after a couple of hours of waiting around killing hatchlings here and there, my faction actually went into the KoS level. Since NToV was at full spawn, Eashen of the Sky was up. Both guilds being at the hatchling hall, wasted a lot of time waiting on the opposing guild to get bored and go after Eashen (because that would mean that they get full rights to Aaryonar)......but nobody went after him. We just sat there and wasted many hours killing hatchlings. Finally, after being KoS to the hatchlings, I chain aggroed the whole hall including Eashen and after many failed feign deaths I wiped out both guilds.
exSoS people are convinced to this day that I did it on purpose, but since noone gives a shit about EQ anymore, I am coming out to say that as much as I thought of most Shock of Swords players as LoS's personal cocksuckers, I did not do that intentionally =(

After writing all that, I began to realize that 99.9% of the people who will read this will not know what the fuck I'm talking about, lol.

Speaking of Euphoria I remember when CT was racing to RZ against Euphoria and Aubry ran through while you guys were clearing your way there. There was a train, Aubry shoulds EVERYBODY CAMP and you see half of Euphoria camping. GT's.

Sanct/EOTA vs LOS Reet room standoff was better, before Glubgawd trained Trak on both guilds.

Thinking back, it feels like the first 3-4 expansions lasted for 5 years and the remaining stuff got jammed into these past 2 years.

Yep I was there..... I also remember Vipsyndsyg auctioning off in /ooc during the standoff too. I can also remember asking myself.."what the hell am I doing sitting here?"

Haha. Guild drama was so dumb. I liked being guildless. I could raid with LoS one night, CT the next, SoS the next etc and never had to deal with whining and bullshit. Of course I never really got any loot either but I didn't care.
