Looking for an account cheap (or free!)

One of my friends wants to start playing WOW, so I'm looking to pick up an account cheaply or free. Someone who doesn't play anymore, and has no desire to pick it up again. I don't care what characters, if any, are on the account, as he'd likely just start from scratch anyway, but I'm looking for the registration codes cheaper than the $50 I'd be paying in stores.

If anyone is able to help me out, I'd truly appreciate it.
