Hey Now *Old school Euphoria vs SoS standoff*

I'm not a min-max faggot, if we're steadily moving along while enjoying it, fuck the greedy pricks.
pp drops is only a tiny tiny percentage of the $$ people make while playing. I'd rather make 2-3x XP than an extra 8 gold per kill
That standoff would have never have happened if Seanlan was still GL. He would have let you have it, and then have us kill Aaryonar after you wiped. As we did so many times in our race to West Wing.
Hehe. Back then, Euphoria had a solid core of powergamers....but at the same time, it had a solid core of pussy dramaqueen lootwhores as well. That's why I left when Kane Bayle opened up.
It was kinda sad, really. March15, 2005 Kane Bayle opened up. In July, after being around for 4 months, my guild on KB killed the Avatar of War(beating Euphoria to the punch).

I burned myself out on the leveling rush on KB with that powergamer guild...
I forgot their name, but we were jablowning the rest of the server and I just got insanely burnt-out and quit EQ for a month. I never went back to KB, wish I had stuck it out with them, they were fun people.

seriously... You didn't miss much. KB was VERY VERY boring to play on. I mean yah, the mobs were up a lot but their was ZERO community. Fucking PoK's /ooc was nothing but crickets chirping.
When EQ turns into your standard RPG it gets boring fast.

I hated when cleric's did that. I think a cleric deserves a little more money for using dots, but not all the fuckin gems. If they were any good, they'd only have to dot 1 guy a few times throughout the grouping.
I never asked for gems, I dealt them out to the group evenly and it usually kept me covered.
So if the rogue was short changing the group, I'd kick them without warning if they refused to stop PP'ing. It was extremely easy to replace people back then when you had LINES of people waiting to be in your groups.

I remember once I was leading a naggy raid and one of the pre-raid groups I was leading in to kill fire giants had a cleric in it that refused to buff anyone without first being given money.
Its like dude... whats the fuck are you doing on my raid if you aren't going to do shit.
Lucky that today Virtue, Symbol, etc don't require peridots.

or maybe coop Black Templars/Wolves that was precursor to CoA
You're thinking of the night Black Templars teamed up with LoS and screwed over EoTA on CT.
Can't recall that CoA ever teamed up with LoS
and if any ex-CoA are unaware

is still up and running.
The best part about the Euph v SoS standoff was that at the end of the night Euph won the chance to take downa Aaryonar and once SoS left, we left as well.

Duro...I think EoTA was up there already and LoS came up to help them from Sanct...my memory is foggy, because that's back when I was playing my cleric.

You were rare, the majority of cle's from what I had seen demanded to be the only person to loot and then at the end, they would take what they determined they needed and then split the rest. This usually meant all gems and 50% of the money to them and split the rest. The only reason people even dealt with the BS was because while it was easy to replace any member, replacing the damn cle was net to impossible.
For to win one hundred victories in one hundred battles is not the acme of skill. To subdue the enemy without fighting is the acme of skill.

until shaman hit 60 and got torpor
then clerics were no longer ever required for an XP camp again
As long as someone didn't die.
usually wasn't an issue
if someone did die, could hide/sneak drag corpse to a cleric in another camp
then kill the way back
with kunark they did a good job of making it so that you didn't need a cleric for everything
it made life easier having one along, but it wasn't a requirement

Back in the day....I'd either be on my cleric or my monk depending on Leiel and Ralvien playing and what we were killing.
Those guys were burnouts though, they would be on for an extended period of time and all just want to quit. All of them were great players though. KD arena ftw.
PS, Wooh sux ^_~

Yeah they are different occasions.
Although the TBT/LoS raid was pretty fun and EoTA was really pissed off when they found out that we had called up LoS to help. I think Trinity zoned and started to swear at us in /ooc.
