$150 bucks for a logo that doesn't suck ass....

It might be too orange. It's not as shiney as the blue one was. Which can be fixed. And yeah, the S in Fuse needs to be cleaned up a bit yet.
Thank you, and I got started with Photoshop, but I think GIMP is a free program that does similar things. Not as comprehensive as PS, but it's not $800 either. I've never used it, but people get by with it. I've even seen one person do amazing work with MS Paint.
nice work, ive always wanted to learn that shit but i dont even know of a program to get started with.

hmm I was thinking the same thing actually...I wondered what it would look like if the letters in "fuse" were all fused (hehe) by the lightning effects...

Maeya if I may poke a little, the s rather looks like it extends to the u and the e and then cuts off, I think a little more liquidy feel to it would work wonders, even a quick clone stamp to get rid of the vertical lines where the s ends and starts would be a quick fix, just so it looks like it flows out of one letter and into the next.
Also yeah web is 72 dpi standard :P

I think clearing those lines away does wonders for the look, one other thing bugs me about the fusion of the letters u and s is where the u comes down and into the s, the gap between the curve of the u and where the s intersects, I can't think of how to describe it but I think I would like it better if it was not there, perhaps making the bottom of the u a little thicker so the bottom of the curve also fuses into the s.
But then again thats just be being crazy focusing on one thing, from one designer to another kind of crap, the stuff that customers would usually never pick on rofl!
I think it looks really nice and clean cut though, the one with the lightening over the entire thing could make for a wonderful graphic for a commercial. Start with the lightening just in the u and then have it kind of charge up and through the logo ending up with the final charged logo, would be great to use as a description of the power and such that Ralf is trying to potray.

I think the whole lightning thing is lame.
I was torn between doing a barrel or a crate though...

The third one down has too much lightning on it though, and I think the 2nd one down would be the best, but I like the blue lightning better... it seems more powerful to me than the orange color.
