Eh, I must admit I get most of my new's from Nightline, and the Detroit free press. and a majority of people interviewed that claim to be illegals always put that their true allegience will always be to Mexico.

That's what kinda ruffles my feather's. And again this isnt aimed at all of a singular race, Moreso just at illegal immigrants as a whole. I dont personally give a fuck if they were illegal immigrants whom became legal or not. I just dont wan to keep wasting Tax dollars on providing medicade etc for illegals when people whom are citizens get shafted due to the strain put onto the system by this bullshit.
To all my freaks out there,
Holla if you hear me !

No one is saying they can't be proud to be of Mexican decent. At least I'm not. What I am saying is that when you come to this country, be prepared to learn English, be prepared to pay taxes, be prepared to follow OUR fucking laws and customs. Don't throw a fucking fit because the sign at McDonalds isn't in spanish, or run through OUR fucking streets waving a Mexican flag.

This isn't fucking Mexico, if you're that freaking proud then GO BACK.

This isn't the United States of Mexico, get it?

Illegal immigrants aren't associated with our country in that they don't embrace it. These people don't have the rights we americans do, they don't deserve them either. Freedome of speech, assembly, all that shit is something we have, they don't, and shouldn't.

... Mexico has freedom of speech, and assembly.... what the fuck is your point lol. Being able to have freedom of speech and freedom of assembly is what you should be able to have as a human being unless this is 1939 germany.

Little off topic, but I don't believe I ever signed up for the draft. Someone mentioned that we are required to do so at the age of 18. I never knew this! By registering to vote did I already do this? If not, how do I go about doing this? Remember that I'm in Asia..... so can I do this online or do I have to go to the American embassy? ... Would rather not drive 4 hours to the capitol and 4 hours back just to register if possible..

Yes Mexico has freedom of speech and assembly, but ONLY if you are a citizen of Mexico. If you participate in any demonstration in Mexico and are not a citizen it is a crime which you can be arrested for.

We are a sovereign country, it is not a violation of civil rights and liberties to expect someone to follow our laws, to go through a process to obtain citizenship. As a non citizen you are entitled to NOTHING beyond basic humanitarian rights. Being arrested and or deported for breaking the laws of this country or entering it illegally is not a violation of civil rights. I think it would be extremely difficult to find any other country in the world that would or has displayed the leniency that thus far has been extended to illegal aliens currently in our country.

I believe the weeks events will do more to hurt the cause then help it. The problem is that there is at least a small percentage (impossible to tell the true size) of immigrants who believe they are entitled not only to citizenship, but believe the country should cater to them, that somehow they should not have to "melt" into our great "melting pot". The perceptions of people this week will likely be that these ideals are true for the majority (that may or may not be the case). Things like waving the flag of Mexico in these demonstrations, trying to threaten to disrupt our economy if you don't get what you want, lauding a changed version of our national anthem in a foreign tongue, these are the things that will shift people opinions directly opposite the interests of illegal aliens.

When you first register to vote, you usually register with selective service at the same time.

I am all for the dirty mexicans to :gtfo2: Here's why:

My commute home in Albuquerque is normally an hour to an hour and a half (only takes me 30-45 minutes to get to work). Damn illegals clogging the streets in their lowriders! Anyway, since all the spics were protesting yesterday, they weren't on the highway. My drive home was 35 minutes! When I got home, I told my GF that I now had an all time lower liking for those fuggers.

Get rid of the apple picking bastards, NOW!

I have nothing at all against Immigration, hell all 4 of my grandparents were imagrants. 3 of them came here to get away from the gov't they lived with (Germany, Russia and Italy) 1 of them (Australia) I dont know what she was thinking. 3 of them had to learn english. They wouldn't have even dreamed to force others to use their native languages, they were in a new county and needed to learn the ways of that new country.

Illegals piss me off, well so does any person who refuses to learn our language. Pisses me off when people call my office demanding to speak with somone who speaks spanish.

As for the day wihtout mexicans. We have a few that work for us. We pay damn well and treat every employee great. One of them was asked if they were going to participate. They answered with something along the lines of HELL NO, because 1 they though is was stupid and 2 because they knew they would be treated just like any other employee that decided to just not show up. Anyone who decides not to show up just because they have decided they need protest or whatever they call it deserves what they get. Its just wrong to walk out when somone is counting on you to be there.

You forgot the word 'illegal' right before the word 'immigrants'

Lets see what one of my faves, Teddy Roosevelt, has to say on the issue :

"In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the person's becoming in every facet an American, and nothing but an American...

There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag... We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language... and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people."

He's using it/twisting it/misinterpreting it. America welcomes immigrants with open arms. It's the illegals that are not wanted. If we don't do something about them, then we as a nation don't even have respect for our own laws. The law is the law. They broke it, and should be rounded up and shipped back to Messico. Then they can go through the legal and proper procedures and come back in a few months and become legal residents of America.

Have you ever seen or read what it takes to become naturalized?

It doesn't matter. They came here illegally. So what if it takes a long time and requires a bit of studying of the English language and some U.S. Civics schooling. If my parents can do it, then so can the Mexicanos.

Your argument is stupid, actually. By your logic it would be ok to get a fake Bachelor's or Master's degree in order to secure employment... then, once admin finds out that it's fake, and they want to fire you from the company, you get a lawyer to defend you by saying, "He's here now and has been working here for 5 years and does a great job. So what if the degree was fake. Besides, do you know how long it takes to get a real degree?" That's exactly the argument you're using. I sincerely hope you now see the retardation in your statement.

Yes. My mother is a Taiwanese immigrant who got naturalized and became a US citizen.
