I'm going to create this thread here, because it will inevitably wind up here anyway...

My intention is actually NOT to flame or criticize them whatsoever. I congratulate BoD's leadership in seeing the light regarding one of the glaring issues within the guild - abuse of two-boxing and DKP farming.

The leadership of BoD recently decided to eliminate unnecessary two-boxing on guild raids. This was a major source of concern and controversy within the guild and one of the causes that many people cited for leaving the guild recently. I believe it shows maturity and a budding indication of a new attitude within the leadership where they might start to actually listen to the membership and consider the various opinions being laid out at their feet.

I applaud this new direction and I hope it helps to turn the ship back around for you. Good luck to you.

I was one of the people that spoke out about it during my tenure with BoD - among some other issues that were a concern for myself and others. I decided that what I wanted and what the leadership wanted were two drastically different things and I left the guild. It just makes me happy for my friends that are still in the guild and were unhappy with things yet - I'm hoping this will make things better for them.

The people that know and care (one way or another - agree or disagree) will read and appreciate or scorn this post. The rest of you I don't really care about.
