i was researching a ton ton ton on mp3 players for awhile and was gonna go the iriver route, i dunno how their new models of players are doing but the old 20gb models are rock solid
Chances are very good that you've never touched Linux a day in your pathetic life.
I like the Irivers & Creative alot as well. Ipods are giant peices of shit, most people I know have them for about 6-7 months befor something on them breaks. Seriously I'd like to fucking smack the shit out of every mother fucker walking around with their "trendy" Ipod.
I bought an Ipod Nano 4gig. Its perfect for what i use it for, able to work out with it (its incredibaly small and light) use it in the batting cages, hell during a very boring long ass practice game i actually had my ipod in while i was hitting and catching too.
Ive dropped the damn thing so many times, but the nano's are pretty solid, no moving parts in them. That was the main problem with the shuffle that caused so much trouble.
Guess you are going to have to smack the shit out of me Eldred, you know with my trendy Ipod and all

I have a 4gb nano. It's simple, it works, it's small that's all I needed to know. I'm sure the other ones are better, but I didn't have the time or desire to put in the effort to research all of that, especially since I really don't care as long as it holds my 2.5gb worth of songs and works and has a decent warranty.
