The game was great, especially all the hitting.

Wow, it was an exciting finish to the end of regulation in the Hurricanes and Devils game. One goal for each team in the last 21 seconds.

Another good SJ/Edmonton game. I know Edmonton's gonna bitch about the no-call on the holding the stick, though. heh. My only comment on that is: If you weren't hooking him, he couldn't have closed his arm down over your stick. ;) How else could he have held on without ever taking either hand off his own stick?

Series is starting to get chippy, too. Should be interesting to see what happens when they hit the Oilers' home ice.

still should have been a penalty

call it double minors if you want, but letting it go, and having that guy score the winning goal 3 seconds later is pretty lame

Actually, I was pretty surprised. Read the online edition of one of the Edmonton papers today (The Edmonton Journal), and they made no mention of that incident whatsoever. So, obviously must not have been quite so egregious, or they would've been all over it.

Still looking forward to how the series is going to look on Edmonton home ice. Sharks've been clearly the better team so far, though. I mean, how in hell can you NOT SCORE when you've got a 5 on 3 with 2 of the defenders with no sticks. *boggle* My prediction: Sharks & Oilers split the games in Edmonton, Sharks take the series at home in game 5.

Ducks swept the Avanlanches 4 games to none. Colorado sucked this series. After kicking the Stars asses in the first round, I was surprised to see them going out of the playoff on a whimper.

I was too, but Anaheim is playing some stellar hockey

Big game tonight between Edmonton and San Jose

San Jose was the better team the first 2 games, but Edmonton out classed them in game 3

should be a good game if both come out hard again

Edmonton was clearly the better team in game 4 again

seems like the home ice line matchup advantage is pretty pronounced in this series

They were certainly the better team from the midpoint of the 2nd period on, for sure. First half of the game, not so much. I dunno what happened to the Sharks. They were comofortably ahead, had the crowd quiet, and then just fell apart.

It started with Toskala wonderful attempt at clearing the puck near the end of the second period.

that was a the craziest thing I've ever seen

I've never seen a guy shoot a puck from behind the goal line, hit the goalie's blocker then have it bounce all the way to the other blue line to a guy coming right out of the penalty box

I have to ask my friend what he did after that, since he is a canadian wearing an Oilers jersey at the game. He probably laughed his ass off after the Oilers kicked the Sharks' ass.

It just makes me giggle that they would boo the anthem of their own best players

Sharks have what, 3 americans on their entire roster, and only 1 or 2 that actually play

In the other series, I've been really surprised by the Oilers. I really expected them to get completely blown out by Detroit, taking maybe 1 game all series, and they could easily be up 3-0 right now if not for the lucky deflection in game 1.

The oilers are as good as any team in the western conference. their problem all year was weak goaltending

now that Roloson is picking it up, they'll be tough to beat
