To make it a winning team? Shrug... I guess I agree... Kobe, Lebron and Nash? More than enough scoring. But as for merit? Hell no. Those are the MVP candidates right there. Dirk was the 'best' power-forward in the league this year. And that's hardly fanboi talk... Dirk received 584 votes... losing only to Kobe and Lebron. Tim only received 277, putting him at like... 12th in votes.
I can't believe Lebron got more 1st team votes than Kobe though... even if 'just barely'. All-NBA votes are supposed to be 'single-player' accomplishments, unlike the MVP award. It's not a weighted system... it's a pure, 'who was the best 'point-guard' this year. That's clear, Nash. Kobe was the best shooting guard in the league. That's a no-brainer... In MY opinion, Kobe dominated "his position" more than Lebron dominated his. There were a lot of good small forwards... some would even say 'as good' as Lebron. There were NO shooting-guards as good as Kobe this year.
But I'm really really splitting hairs here...
they all made the first team so who cares?
