Happiness occurs moments at a time. Often times it might skew your judgement because it's easy to be carried away by such a great feeling. We all know how you act on feelings Janet, no disrespect. I don't doubt "Honey" is a good guy, I'm just saying he's there and so are you. Where's the fire, what's the rush? Do what's right for you and your kids, not what feels good. All I'm saying. Make sure all your questions about him are answered before you take the next step.

We aren't getting married anytime soon, no proposals have been made, but we both know it is going to happen. I am not an emo teenager (by the way, please refer to your post about your ex girlfriend and the girl you liked and your justification tehre, Jay) and I also know exactly how I react to situations, and that is why I am so scared to make the next step. But enough of that, I have to go write a contract on my new house. 3 week close, its gonna be a pain in the ass.

I really am not defensive. I don't care if you approve of my relationship, because quite honestly, you wouldn't be involved. I grew up with this guy, our families have always been close, yes, we have only had a "relationship" for three months, and we are taking it slow. Let me be happy, and stop trying to rain on my parade.
