Best Computer Case Version 2.0 (last time I promise)
Hello boiz and gurls...
We are bringing out our high end line of computers Monday and are moving right into development of our mid range line of computers.
This time around we are trying to compete with Dell's Dimension 9150 and XPS 400 line of computers. We are shooting for a powerful, everyday computer system that will really appeal to the adult masses. They will be priced between $1399 and $2199 with monitors.
Which case do you like if any? If you hate them all please feel free to post an alternative.
This should be the last time I do this stupid post for awhile but the help is appreciated.
The Competition:

Ralf, if you are going to compete with the 'quality of build' that the big guys use in their bigger cases, you are going to have to use a 'real' case manufacturer... like Lian Li. Using those $50-75 cases because they are inexpensive and aluminum(a good thing, for those that might take that as a slight) will only come off as "I bought what was cheap." And, I'm not necessarily saying that that's what you are choosing... #1 looks like a decent cooler-master case... (close?) but... hear me out.
I know a fair amount about case design and I haven't seen anything in any of your picks that would get me excited. If it's 'looks' you want, then cool. A $20 kingwin will do the job for you. But Dell's system gives you looks AND a PC that an entire Tongan family could stand on. It's an incredibly well built system.
I would suggest getting a Lian Li case and having it 'slightly' customized. Meaning, 'business' personalized - ala Falcon Northwest. I have a friend in the laser and sand-blasting business that could do complete etchings for you... if you wanted to do 'just' side panels, they could do ANYTHING. If you wanted logos in the aluminum, they could do all of that as well. It's good stuff.
Dell bows down to Lian Li in the 'quality of build' corner. It's just up to you if you think their cases are sexy enough. To the PC modders market, you can't get a better case. You'd even get attention - extra buyers - just by mentioning that you are using a Lian Li case.
Furthermore, if you ever wanted help with designing a water-cooling option for your systems, let me know. I could help you put together a $150-250 add-on for 'overclockers' that would be profitable and 'still' highly marketable to the modding crowd.

Alienware is one of the few places IMO that you actually get what you pay for. Their high end stuff may be expensive but they are damn solid machines. It was a sad day when I retired mine and couldn't afford another.
For to win one hundred victories in one hundred battles is not the acme of skill. To subdue the enemy without fighting is the acme of skill.
Too bad they'll go to shit now that Dell owns them.
Inside each person lives two wolves. One is loyal, kind, respectful, humble and open to the mystery of life. The other is greedy, jealous, hateful, afraid and blind to the wonders of life. They are in battle for your spirit. The one who wins is the one you feed.
Hepfully Dell will be smart and not change things, Alienware has a great rep and does things very well. If the people making the decisions for Dell have any brains, they will let the Alienware people do what they do best. If they are really smart, they will use Alienware methods on their XPS line to create a nice bridge between the dell market and the alienware market.
