Unhealthiest Burger?

Postby Phlegm » Sun Jun 04, 2006 1:38 pm

The 1,000-calorie "Krispy Kreme Burger" combines a bacon cheeseburger with a doughnut bun.

This one probably has higher fat content since they use donuts instead of bread for buns.

I had a burger at the Summit Inn on the way to Santa Cruz one time that was the juiciest, greasiest, most delicious burger I've ever had. It was huge, and was on a sub sandwich-sized roll. Steak fries on the side dipped in mayo and ketchup... yummage.

Is the donut coated in sugar too? If so, that seems pretty gross.

It's Krispy Kreme, so I assume it is sugar coated.

lol yeah no doubt. Well, I had my heart arteries checked out last year, and I have zero % blockage. My heart is in perfect condition. I had some chest pains last year, but it was all from stress.

Best burgers I've found in the SF bay area are at a pub called St. John's on Lawrence Expressway near Arques. Most most excellent.

Best fast-food burgers are indeed In & Out, but St. John's is better.

I just BBQed some myself a couple days ago, mixed in half a vidalia onion in with the meat, plus seasonings, etc. before BBQing it with a really good BBQ sauce. Yum-O.

In N Out isn't bad, but there is this chain in Texas called "Whataburger" that pwns all over it.

Death pwns the founders of In-n-out

In 1976, Harry Snyder died of cancer. Management fell to the couple's younger son, then-24-year-old Richard Snyder, who expanded In-N-Out to 93 stores. He was killed in a plane crash near Orange County's John Wayne Airport in 1993.

The eldest son, H. Guy Snyder, took over and further expanded the number of units, including new locations in Arizona and Nevada. He died in 1999 from an overdose of painkillers. After his death, Esther Snyder became president of the company.

Gotta love a burger that is over half your daily allowance of calories!

Also when I saw the doughnut burger I gagged.
