Anyone ever take Adderall?

I swear I have ADHD sometimes...I don't know what it is but I can't focus and it pisses me off.

I heard this drug is the shit for getting rid of it and enhancing your brain... I also hear lots of college kids now use it.

Anyone have any experience with this?

If you have any problems with addictions, stay away from it.

If you don't, go for it. I haven't done it in well over 8 months or so now, and I also wouldn't take it if you just think you have ADHD heh

It's more fun than anything, but it's supposedly scarily addicting from what people tell me. I don't even understand addiction personally.

If you take it and it puts you in line, chances are you have ADHD, if you do not it gives the opposite effect which is why college kids love to take it.

I'll probably skip it then. I read an article this weekend that a lot of college kids take it because it greatly enhances how fast they learn and their focus and that it is being equated to steroids for the brain with little to no side effects.

yeah it's like ADHD ---> normal ---> psychotic. if you're ADHD and you take it you go normal and if you're normal and you take it you get really high. adderall = amphetamine salts

A bunch of my friends in my group in high school took Adderall daily, they were constantly fucked in the head. Good times though.

I can absolutely guarantee you're wrong, Griever. Why? Because I have it, as does both my dad and my brother.

I've never been on Adderall, but I was on Dexedrine for a while, and taking a bunch of speed every day actually helped me sleep. Something tells me if someone with normal biochemistry was taking as much speed as I was being prescribed, they wouldn't have been sleeping MORE than they did without it.

Dexedrine is just less different TYPES of amphetamine salts than Adderall.

Oh, not arguing they're probably not similar, just never actually been on adderall itself.

Eventually, I built up a tolerance for the Dexedrine, and it stopped working, and they switched me to somethign else for a while. Ultimately stopped getting anything once I lost my health insurance, been dealing with it (sometimes unsuccessfully) on my own since then.

if you wanna spend 8 hours straight studying, enthralled by your information then yeah it's pretty good esp for cramming sessions - you're gonna crash and feel like shit the next day tho

if you wanna take it day by day for overall cognitive/attention enhancement then the risks aren't worth it esp. if you really don't have adhd

i've only tried it a few times during school crunch times but its not something i'd do on a regular basis (or ever do again, actually)

I have ADHD, really bad actually. I h ave been known to drift off in mid sentance because of it. Its actually almost gotten me killed in a mine before because I wasnt paying attention and almost was pinned up against the wall by a 70 ton piece of machinery.

Its an imbalance of chemicals in the brain.

As far as adderall goes, if you have ADD or ADHD, it will help, but if you dont it makes you hyper. I have friends who used it to stay awake and study, but when the doc gave it to me it helped me focus. Right now im taking Strattera for it. works wonders.

Costco has this dietary suppliment called FocusSmart (comparible to FocusFactor) The label says that by taking it, it supports concentration, memory and focus. It's like vitamins for your brain. I think it's about $13 for a 240 ct bottle.

I'll rephrase my statement then.

I'm almost positive 95% of cases where people claim to have ADD/ADHD are incorrect.

I'm sure some people genuinely have the disorder, but I feel most of society uses it as a cheap way out.
