I highly doubt that it'll make be die within the next ten years, and by that time we'll probably be able to get replacement lungs of some sorts.

It took me a month to finally quit completely after learning I was pregnant.
I still want to smoke. I was really craving a cigarette tonight at Hooters. The rest of my table was smoking =/

Gah, chewing tobacco is absolutely disgusting. My first time around in college, one of the guys in my dorm section chewed. He was ALWAYS leaving cups of his chew-spit around in the hallways, in the common areas, etc. You didn't dare leave a mug or something you owned out, as if he found it, he'd use it for chew-spit too. Not a lot more disgusting than seeing a beer stein you'd been looking for, picking it up and looking into it, and finding it full to the top with 3-day old chew spit, all brown and congealed and lumpy and starting to ferment from sitting out in warm weather for so long.

Ugh. I get nauseous just thinking about it.

Juls you can't buy it here in Malaysia. I don't think they have it in China either, but I'll look for some while I'm there. I did bring some back from the States for ppl here to try before. Personally I prefer Skoal (sp?).

Skoal Straight Long Cut for me, thanks! I quit smoking and switched to smokeless when I found out my son was going to be born. I figured if I was going to have a tobacco problem I would confine it to myself and not my son.

And those pictures you posted, Mindia, are the worst of the worst case scenarios attributed to smokeless tobacco. I have been doing it for about 10 years now and haven't gotten so much as a cavity. Dentists don't even realize I do it until I tell them.

Have you ever heard of brushing teeth Mindia? The thing that causes the bad tooth decay in the tobacco is some type of sugars that coat the teeth. I brush my teeth 3-4 times a day and my teeth ar eno more yellow and decayed than when I started over 7 years ago. Never had one cavity. Also it was t he same with me Agrajag, the dentist didnt know I did it until I was 19 and told him. My gums are even receeded because I move it around so much.

Also as he said, one reason I do it and not smoke is so no one else around me has to smell that nasty ass smoke smell.

See my comments regarding Chew Spit earlier in this thread if you need to know why people think it's still disgusting.

Yeah, I don't leave any cups or bottles laying around. Even I find that nasty. The other day my cat jumped down onto my computer desk and knocked over the bottle I was using. Spilled that nastiness in my lap. If I had caught her right then she would have been throttled!

Pretty much in this day and age if you continue to smoke, you're pretty much off the deep end.

There are so many ways to make quitting easier.
