Lol no shit I remember fucking lighting a small bottle rocket inside the school cafeteria. I threw it on the floor and it went off and it made a little snaping sound is all. Anyway I guess a teacher had caught me and they then preceeded to take me to the office. From their a cop that was always around school came and gave me a ticket and a date to go to juvenile court. So I went and they said I was "Very lucky that this will not be a felony" (They wanted to charge me with a Class C felony for arsony...supposdly I could have lit the school on fire....when our cafeteria had like no burnable material inside it, it is all ceramic). Anyway point is if someone does shit on the scale of lighting a small firework that won't do more then spark or make a noise and goes to life in jail for that kind of shit id be more then a little pissed.

Yup.

He didn't need to get arrested to realize he was doing something stupid and wrong and clean himself up either.

Only difference is I wouldn't be crying about him being a victim if he had gotten caught. It's all about taking personal responsibility for your actions.

Of course, I didn't know him when he was using that crap and I never would have hooked up with him had he still being using, so this is all theoretical.

So you think he himself and society would be better off had he gotten caught 3 times for the multiple crimes he's committed?

You do know that I am a mix of contradictory beliefs about drugs, right? I believe they should be legalized but also thing anyone who does the harder drugs is an idiot.

Anyway, the current laws they way they are, if he had gotten caught he would have gotten what he deserved. And considering he was in the military at that time he'd probably still be breaking big rocks into small ones.
