Thanks. These kinds of rigs:

I'm also going to take the written exam for the Haz-Mat endorsement. If you haul Haz-Mat, then you get about 2-cents more per mile, loaded.

There's only a curtain you can draw shut. Maybe there was a door on the older rigs.

Nope, he's safe too. He's part of the "Middle States" division. The "11 Western States" division is:

California
Oregon
Washington
Nevada
Idaho
Utah
Arizona
Montana
Wyoming
Colorado
New Mexico

Besides, he'd be safe anyway if I ever rolled through Nebraska, because I'm always a safe driver.

The first pics I posted were of a Freightliner. Here's what a Kenworth looks like:

Volvo makes some pretty kick ass rigs too, and I believe they are the most powerful rig made today:

50% of the time I will be on the I-5 corridor between Seattle and San Diego. Sound off if you live near the I-5 corridor. It would be cool to actually meet some of you in real life. Plus, I hear it can get pretty boring "over-the-road," so it would be fun to sit and chat over a beer or two and then post some pics on the NT so KILL can do his magic. lolz

haha I just got this email from the Hartford because I submitted my resume a couple months ago:

Based on the career profile you provided us, you might be interested

026908 -- APD Claim Processor

WHY JOIN THE HARTFORD?

As a global leader in insurance, asset management and financial
service products, we offer professionals every possibility for
growth. Whether we're helping customers or building careers, we're
experts at creating the kind of advantages that help people reach
their goals.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for entry level claim professionals for our Sacramento
claims office. Bachelors degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written a must.
Previous commercial and/or personal lines claims experience desired,
however, not required.

WHAT IS THE COMPENSATION OPPORTUNITY?

At the Hartford, our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay
competitive base salaries and reward performance.

The base salary for this position ranges from $29,000 to $40,000. :teehee: I'll make more than that my first year driving a truck! What a bunch of fagbosses. They're a good company, but those wages leave much to be desired.

In addition, you will be eligible to participate in our comprehensive
benefits program including Medical, Dental, Life and Disability
Insurance, a 401K Plan, an Employee Stock Purchase Plan and more.

WHAT ARE THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION?

As a dedicated APD claims processor you will interpret insurance
policy and apply exposure of the claim to fulfil our obligations to
the policyholder. Investigate all exposures to determine cause,
scope, and extent or damages and/or liability and possible
subrogation potential. Evaluate claim for purposes of setting
reserves and making appropriate payment. Document all claim activity
to support the outcome initiatives. Guide policyholder through the
claim process to ensure understanding. Outstanding customer service
and communication skills required within a team environment.

WHAT ELSE CAN YOU TELL ME?

The Hartford Sacramento Commercial Lines Service Center is a fast
paced organization that will offer you the opportunity to join a team
of dedicated Claim Professionals. We value providing exceptional
customer service and superior claim handling, while providing our
employees with the opportunity for growth and advancement.

:hiphop: cool! I'll see if I can swing it. After graduation from trucking school I'll be assigned a personal trainer for the company for another 4 weeks, and I'll be all over the country (48 states) in that time period. After that, I'll get to go to my western division.
