France beat Brazil 1-0. All European final four.

France played a great game to win that. The things that Brazil usually does very well just were not there for them today. France definatly desirved that win.

France dominated that game. Brazil didn't get a shot on goal until very late in the game.

I am surprised, but I'm not, too. Brazil never really played like BRAZIL for most of the tournament, with the exception of that game vs Japan, maybe. Lots of people in Brazil were bitching abotu the coach, and how he was playing older, slower players rather than some of the younger ones. Bet you anything he's done as coach for Brazil after this. As they said on ESPN, this is the first world cup since 1990 where Brazil wasn't in the finals. They won it in 94, lost in the finals to France in 98, then won it in '02.

France started this tournament off really slowly, but apparently they're peaking at the right time.
