Do FoH people have a life outside of games, or did those people in beta get to keep their chars when the server went live?

Well, given Brad was in that guild and they had and still have a plethora of inside info regarding early EQ on their boards that it's not surprising they were able to easily hit 50 and easily take down early mobs.,

A week to 50 and Nagy down. When will Kunark be open? lol.

Something tells me this will be a normal server in a few months. I'm glad I didn't waste my time.

Certainly didn't expect complete guilds like foh to jump on this.

Now will be interesting to see if they stay the course instead of just trying to coolguy-buttram everyone for the first unlocking.

hahah what did you all expect? The uber guilds will always be uber. I mean this whole concept is a nice idea on Sony's part, but in a month things will be right back to normal.

Actually, I'll doubt it will be a normal server any time soon --- Vex Thal/PoP Flagging/GoD flagging/ect are gonna be huge bottlenecks and most people aren't gonna stick around for all that... but really - past velious, who gives a shit anyways?

How so? I expect CT and inny to be down within a week, 2 TOPS. Thats what? like 3 more nag/vox. With some decent loot, you have well hasted main tanks and so on. With the bugs and kinks worked out of Vex/PoP, the biggest bottle neck in this whole server, will be VP. Just due to trak limited teeth drop. By the time PoP is open, AA's will be pouring in(Thx pofire!).

I mean half of foh people, are at a played time greater then 8 days....the servers only been up 11 days now? minus some patch time...I mean wtf really.

The progression idea was a good one, but with a very bad setup for this IMO. If they put timecamps on this server so that expansions cannot be unlocked for at least 3-6 months, then it'll work out. If it's solely based on killing and Kunark is unlocked within a month, I'll really laugh and watch as masses of people who aren't near 50 quit.

FOH has all the Kunark inside info and strats. I expect them all to be 60 within a week and start clearing everything their.

I have had more fun in eq progression than I have had in any game for years. Even if kunark was unlocked in a month the 15 dollars I spent to enjoy what I have is well worth it.

There is a timecap in place to make sure it isn't rushed (or hacked).

Maddoc won't tell anyone the minimum cap though.

There is a lot of common knowledge, but I'd guess a guild that had the lead designer of EQ in it might have and still does know an extra few things.

As long as one is having fun, thats all that matters. I'm glad for them, but it's not for me.

I was hating on FoH for the first week or two. I am getting along with them much more now that I'm pretty much forced to group with them at my level.
