you cant try to tell me Detroit isnt a nasty fucking disgusting place, I dont see how ANYONE can deny that shit

I love redneck paradise. Country people are generally nicer people than city people I have found, and cleaner too, unlike most places in Mich i have been to. We love our mountains and keep them clean. But then again I can take you to a few little towns that you dont want to break down in because your liable to get robbed and beaten, worse than most city ghettos. But overall, country > city.

I grew up in northern Minnesota. People there are no where near as nice as the place im at now, Pensacola, Florida. Somone in the south will go out of their way to make your day brighter. In MN people would do the exact opposite.

well, personal opinion I guess spazz. If you like Michigan, good. Im fiercely loyal to my home too. I dont think anyone could offer me a good enough job or money to move away.

Never been to Minnesota, and only flown into Pensacola, in and out in 45 minutes, but I have heard its a nice place to live.

Northern Virginia sucks ass. One day I'll move down towards Richmond or Virginia Beach where its quiet, slow paced and far fewer Mexicans.

yeah i hate NOVA. I had to go to Manasses (right outside of DC) for a wedding a couple months ago, and it drove me nuts when I hit the traffic around rush hour going in and out of DC. I was nervous as hell drivin around there. Some of you fuckers are used to it, but I was freakin out half the time, people drive so damn fast there :ugh: Some of the guys that live around there were tellin me that they have to go about the same distance I do for work, and what takes me 20 minutes, takes them well over an hour...i cant imagine having to do that...

Yeah Im used to the traffic here. To travel 25 miles it takes me 45 mins to an hour.

I live in Woodbridge, which is really close to Manassas. Its just west of me. Next time you are in this area let me know.

Detroit was by far the shittiest city I have set foot in.

I would rather live in the shittiest part of Boston over ANY part of Detroit.

Fuck Detroit

I drove down the Eight mile by the way, holy fuck that is disgusting.

In all honesty, the only thing(s) I really hate about the deep south is the fucking heat, humidity and the damn bugs. It's way to fucking hot down here. I like snow, winter and the cold. Give me 10 over 110 any day of the week.

A lot of you all are suffering from the heat wave that's actually killing people up north. Try living in that kind of heat ALL the time. An average summer day down here is in the mid to high 90's (summer that is) - add to that the freaking 80% humidity and you can have loads of fun!

I know it's going to be a bad day when I wake up and at 7am it's already 85 degrees.

one day last week I had to work on a strip mine and it was 94 and humid as fuck. 94 doesnt sound bad to most people, but when you're out there for 13 straight hours around hot ass heavy equipment and nonstop moving around lifting stuff it blows.

No the temp itself isn't necessarily the problem. It's when you have 95 degrees with 80% humidity it FEELS like a 110. The heat index, wet bulb, whatever you call it in your neck of the woods is what makes me want to move far far far up north.
