If the Chargers handles Rivers like the Steelers handled Roethlisberger, San Diego should win the west.

Well, which team is it gonna be?
Rivers will bomb by the way. He is lucky to have Tomlinson and Gates though.

Chiefs would win if their defense is decent which I doubt. Chargers would win if Rivers doesn't throw like 35 passes a games.

why will he bomb?
he's got a decent offense around him
LT is good enough that he only needs to complete 15-20 passes a game to keep defenses honest

5-11 is pretty optimistic i think, jeje
i think if carolina can stay healthy, they'll be the NFC representatives for the SB
I don't think Steelers will repeat, unfortunately
I could actually see the Bengals making big strides this year

It usually comes down to injuries. I think if Palmer hadn't gotten hurt, Pitt would've lost that wild card game in Cinci.
I see this year being pretty wide open in both conferences. I think Indy will miss Edge more than they think.

I was pounding down the Chiefs kool-aid after they signed Law, but unless Roaf un-retires after training camp, they're looking at losing 10-17 points per game. Turley will be good by mid-season, but he still needs to gain some weight.

Probably true. However, in the last seven seasons, the 2000 Tennessee Titans are the only Super Bowl runner-up to manage even a .500 record the following season. I'm not one to bet against a streak.
Besides, why the hell should I be conservative with my picks? I might as well try to nail some sleeper picks so that I can taunt you guys the rest of the year with my prognosticating genius!
It's all good.

I agree with the people in the playoffs but think it will come out more like
NFC Champion: Carolina
AFC Champion: New England
Super Bowl XLI: Carolina in a close game though I would prefer NE wins.
