So as I mentioned in another thread, Friday I ordered an Athlon 4200+ Dual Core from Newegg. Price 375.00. Monday, AMD announced the new price on Athlon chips and that price was 199.00. Well I was pissed to be out of 175.00 by ordering just one business day earlier.
My chip has already shipped so I figured I was out of luck. According to policy they do not do adjustments on price fluctuations due to the frequency they happen. But I chanced it anyway and used their on-line chat service to speak to a rep.
Within 5 minutes, I was credited back 175.00 on my credit card with no questions asked. I felt it was the right thing to do, but was still surprised they offered me the difference. First time to use Newegg, and they have made a customer out of me from here on out.

I have dealt with ALL of the major computer manufacterurs, retail and wholesale parts distributors, credit card processors, business development companies and you fucking name it.. Newegg is the BEST company I have ever dealt with.
Most companies suck so much ass I want to stab and bomb them.

Only problem with Newegg was trying to do RMAs on defective OEM parts. I was at a loss because the manufacturers themselves sucked cock... so I went to them. They proved to be no help either, but it was a pretty unique situation in itself, so yeah.
I ended up buying stuff retail, putting defective parts in the box and returning them for a full refund to bypass that.
